| The Laguna wheel is named after the Laguna Seca Racetrack, a road racing track located near Monterey, California, USA. Originally constructed in 1957, the current racetrack is 2.238 miles in length (3.602 kilometers), has eleven turns, including the famous "Corkscrew", site of the famous Alex Zanardi pass to win an Indy car race. The first race was held in 1957. The track has hosted many motor racing events, including the USRRC, Formula 5000, IMSA GT, Champ Car and American Le Mans Series. |
